Dates Event 08/15/08 through 09/21/08 Portraits of Valor: Faces of Courage & Honor Historic Exhibit Opens at Cherry Creek Shopping Center "Portraits of Valor: The Faces of Courage & Honor" opens Friday, August 15 at 1:30 p.m. in the Qwest Connection Court. This 5-week photographic exhibition is a collection of dramatic large-format black-and-white portraits by Denver photographer Nick Del Calso, who photographed 139 Congressional Medal of Honor recipients during eight years of research, travel and interviews. Eighty of the portraits, along with the stories behind the heroes, will be featured in the exhibit. Three Medals of Honor representing branches of the U.S. Armed Forces will be displayed as an accompanying centerpiece. The exhibition's national debut will be at Cherry Creek Shopping Center August 15 to September 21, 2008.
